About Humble Abode Science

Many of us find ourselves with a new normal. That normal maybe working from home, or it maybe trying to homeschool kiddos. This can all be overwhelming, and I am here to help.  As a science teacher, I am adjusting to a new normal as well. Teaching from home is a journey I never expected to embark on, but here I am.  Science is a hands-on subject that all ages can enjoy. As I embrace my new normal,  I want to share fun activities you can engage in with your children, family, and spouses. These will be simple activities to add something new to your routine while practicing social distancing.

In sixth grade I had a history teacher share a quote with me. It is by Charles R. Swindoll, and I would like to share it with you. Let’s make the best out of our situations and continue to learn and grow together.
